tool: one funny looking plastic stick, fix two parts together to form a long stick
the curling twirl Mum borrow from Aunt!
step one: press the opening of the curly twirl to open the "mouth"
step two: inset the long stick into the curly twirl
step three: use the stick to make the curly twirl long
step four: use the hook on one end of the curly twirl to hook on a bit of hair
step five: pull the stick from out of the curly twirl
step six: repeat steps to entire head!

leave curly twirl on hair for a good half an hour (mum advise overnight works better)

anyway i was doing it for fun, so here's the result 15 mins later (when i lost interest!)

was about to head to bed so couldnt put on makeup to complete the whole look, i apologies!!!!!
but look at the picture above *and ignore the face*..... you will see the entire curls that sets on the hair quite prettily.... i actually think its pretty useful!

after being the guinea pig for this tool, mum hesitate no further to get one set for herself, and now its lying on a corner of the room, i'll be expecting myself to use them pretty often...

and in case you are curious where to get them, i actually saw it selling at Chinatown the market place near the station.... the entire set cost S$12 for 18 curly twirl and perhaps you can consider purchase extra curly twirl for thick hair, it wont cost you more than $10!
